New browser-based riddle game - Try it.
« on: August 16, 2007, 09:11:56 AM »
Hi, I built a browser-based riddle game.
The game contains 21 stages, and in a few days I will add more stages.
Here is the URL: http://www.go-box.net
You should try it

I generally like these sort of puzzle games, but this one is really hard :D
As far as I can tell, there are no clues except for the picture on stage five, and I have no idea what the password is... I dunno what 'matan' is either...

Edit:
btw, do you know any other games that are like this? I'd like to try those as well ^^

Nice. Not really my thing either, but it looks fun for those with time. :P

P.S. Did anyone ever play the original I Love Bees?

never heard of I love Bees. I thought the original was the not-pron one. but I never really cared about them so I might be wrong

I Love Bees was an alternate reality game for Halo, before ARGs became a mainstay of modern, high-budget promotional efforts. Excellent backstory combined with provocative puzzle concepts. It's a little beyond the scope of a browser riddle game, but the site did feature a lot of hunting through source code, hidden pages, and other such browser riddles which I take it were innovative for its time.

I checked out I Love Bees (the site is still there) and it looks really well made, but it seems way to complicated for me to try it out. I don't even know where to start :P

I got stuck on stage 4 as well (could swear it's supposed to be 34, but whatever).
