New - Chaotic Kingdom

This game has just been revived and renamed. It used to be called Dragon's Kingdom. It's been started up again, and is undergoing testing and changing, so if you like browser based games, I suggest you take a look at this one.

It's browser based. And has tonnes of cool features:

- Heaps of classes, all with their own strengths and weaknesses
- Class specific skills, and character customisation.
- No set turn limit, ie click to your heart's content
- A crafting and smithing system with a total of 5 non-combat skills to train
- A PvP dueling arena
- A pet system where all in-game monsters are available to catch (provided you have a strong enough capture spell).
- You can train and battle your fully customisable pets against eachother
- Awesome Guild system that encourages teamwork and warring Guilds can attack eachother's Strongholds

The community is very small at the moment having just had it's doors re-opened not long ago. If you're interested in joining a new game, now would be the perfect time to join this one. The community will grow in population rather quickly, and if you get there first, you'll get a head start and could make it to be one of the games top players. There are also positions open for Moderators, and Beta-testers to test out new concepts before they are implemented.

Be sure to come try it out, regardless. Once you've signed up, Mail "Nightfire" in-game and let him know that 'Seifen' sent you. He'll fix you up with some extra gold as soon as he can in order to give you even more of a head start.

Some feedback:

The text is pretty hard to read at times on that marbled background you use. Consider giving the panels a solid background, especially the 2 flanking page columns.

A scrolling log of my actions, especially movement, would be a nice addition to the current info panels.

The kingdom map would be more useful if it (1) showed my location and (2) allowed me to travel or at least plan travel by interacting with it.

Even though I'm prevented from actual forging, etc. while exploring, I shouldn't even be able to see those action screens.

Since most of the locations are waste and desert, there should be some other indication of travel than the same message repeated - I have no sense that I'm actually moving, but instead just clicking buttons. Different descriptions for the generic sites, even just alternating ones, would help a lot.

Thanks alot for the feedback, but I can't take credit for the game. I'm only trying to publicise it. I'll be sure to hand over your points to the one who is responsible though, and thanks for taking the time to come up with some constructive criticism. 
A few of the things you've mentioned are rather basic things, which I'm sure the developer(s) is working on anyway. I do agree with you though, the background is a little outdated and unfitting.

Things are already starting to pick up though, on a lighter note. We've noticed an increase in the number of active players, which is great. If you've got some spare time guys, come check it out.

But I think they use a modified version of the script, there's a website selling a script called Dragon's Kingdom but it looks just like Dragon Knight... That is just low, selling a free script.

You may not, however, redistribute the program (modified or stock) in any manner. And you may not alter the copyright or powered by notices at the bottom of the game pages in any manner. Short of those few rules, you are given free reign to do what you wish.

I looked at the Dragon Knight forums and the creator of the Dragon Knight game knows of the script being sold, but he says there is not much he can do about it.

I've looked into it myself now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I don't really want to glorify a game that's just a rip of something else. They've been using the 'Dragon Kingdom'  script. Which evidently, they must have purchased. I don't think I'll be playing any longer. Shame on them. Erm, yeah. What a load of balls, really.

Well, it's not really a rip, Dragon Knight games are pretty fun actually. I think the game owners got scammed, since the script was free in the first place.

Hello everyone..I just had to register here to clarify on a couple of points here that ive read..

 Of course as with anyone else,I dont like being accused of ripping anything..Never had and never will do such a thing.

The source that chaotic-kingdom is using is free/open source in no way did I or any member of my team rip it. And even the suggestion that leads to the conclusion of it being riped with out first doing ANY type of research first is just out right ridicules .

The source is currently being used for members to play, free of charge.In the shadows(private) is a totally new game being made, using the same source but being fully modified for a more updated , new age style that will out do any other game using the same source.

What I meant to say that whoever had created the script ripped it off from the Dragon Knights script and started to try to sell the script while the original was free. I was just worried you had been ripped off by buying the script rather than downloading it for free.

I knew what you were saying..lol..no worries here.. and yes I did get ripped off bye buying the script .I didnt know that it was open source till after the fact of buying it.But oh well..i paid the price and i have really no regrets getting the script.Its afun game and were making it better then what it was..AND were gonna finished the script..I dont know if you know this or not but the game was never finished..lol...Once a players really gets into the higher lvls you begine to relize that its not complete..lol

One reason I posted was It seemed that a member here is just trying to stir up stuff and I couldn't site back with out defending my self..Although it also appears that your members for the most part aren't being swayed without fist looking into it for themselves.

Which is exactly what I was saying as well.  I'm not trying to stir up trouble.  I just think that its pretty low for someone to take something that a person was nice enough to let everyone have for free and then turn around and profit from that.
