I have created a game called Northern Retreat



It is made in JavaScript using the canvas element.

I love the smoothness of controls and gameplay, was surprised by the improving between levels (upgrades), it's really well thought out and polished,
great enemy behaviour

missing a keyboard alternative for firing; maybe also a key for swithing weapons near arrows?

There is an undocumented feature for switching weapons: Right mouse button

I'll add some more fire buttons on the keyboard. Were you playing without a mouse btw? The keyboard-only control is quite crappy as it is now, so you are probably not because you just said you liked the control
