MCCodes engine again? Why you didn't code it from the begining instead?

Are you saying that the GRPG script he's using is a ripoff of the Raven Game Engine? Because if you are, I have to say that you don't know what you're talking about. I personally know the guy that coded GRPG. I've seen him write the code first hand.

And yes, good luck with your game tbales.
I'm not slacking off. My code's compiling.

I have yet to see a original (to buy/free) game script that isn't ripped for 90% from another game script.

Thieving is common in this world. Funny thing is that most forget to change the database structure and that same bugs apply as the script they used ... but named their own with some changes done.

In short revamped mccode script and claimed to be new/unique just like the raven script.

Also note that the GRPG script site is as dead as it possible can, so even if it was a unique script. The above game seems to use a stolen copy/illigal license.

But looks like the LP hosting ends in may, if not paid there will be no GPRP site anymore... so the script will only be available through warez channels... last year he had trouble to cough up $150 for hosting... I wouldn't be surprised the site would be gone.

I can be wrong....

Yes, GRPG does have a lot of the features from most Mafia games and it has some unique features, but I know for a fact that Publius coded the game from scratch by himself.
The script isn't dead; Publius is still working on it, the updates just haven't been added to the copy that's for sale.
The copy of the script being used for this game could be a stolen copy, but it could also be a legit copy that was paid for.
As for the trouble to cough up $150 for hosting, where are you getting this information? For as long as Publius has had the site, he's never had trouble paying for his hosting.

I believe we should probably stop talking about this mdshare. I've visited your site and I must say it is quite excellent. It's better than any sites that I have currently worked on and thus I respect you for this.

@tbales
Sorry jacking the thread.

guess that pic suits you or you are one of those that believes everything on the net

the script is deffo not written from scratch , just check the database and compare with other similar scripts, and why on earth are the bugs/injection methods identicall as another game script ...

oh well believe what you want

revamping a mccode script for instance is still a mccode script in my eyes even if it's named different

I put the pic there because I was mad, but after posting I thought that it was a dumb move, so I changed my post to be a more civilized retort. If this was any other mafia script, I'd agree with you, but as I've stated before, I have seen the script coded first hand.

The problem with the GRPG is he's selling a script that has tons of bugs in it.
Before his forum got destroyed, there were always people who bought the script posting to why their game was being hacked.  Reason is the hackers could easily see it was a game based off of GRPG and knew all the exploits.

Once he was notified of the bugs, he should have pulled the game and not sold anymore copies.

Even his demo game still has the bugs, one of the reasons I just quit playing.
I'm not bashing Pub, he seems like a nice guy, but if he doesn't have the time to fix the script he shouldn't be selling it to others.   It's just setting them up to fail with their games.
