I have seen this too. No one is really getting on anymore to talk about the subjects that are already posted. It seems like everyone is to into doing something else.

Seems like we get a lot of one or two time posters who post about making a game and then lose interest as soon as people tell them that they will have to learn some programming or do some work to make a game.  I think it would be nice if we could get some sort of team project going where everyone who wants to can work to create an opensource game or create a game library that can be used for many projects.  I think that would generate a lot more interest to the forums.

Yeah that could be true. You get more people doing one game, more ideas go into it and it make the game more interesting to play and to add on to it. You need to find out what people are interested in and then make something that is to their interest.

Yeah too many people think it'll just be a walk in the park, then find it's more of a run up a mountain, and lose interest.

I'm new here,
I've been developing my game using Zeggy's ezRPG.

I've been slowly modifying it, and making it a little different then everyone else's game. 

Been learning as I go, I had never really messed with mysql and never heard of adodb before I started working with this game (lol)

I have a ton of ideas for my game, and have been able to actually get a few to work!!  :D
Hopefully as I learn more, I'll be able to add more to the game.

The biggest hurdle for me, is making sure I keep in mind are those cheaters!
I thought the development of my game was going pretty well, until I realized anyone could just type in the URL and get access to those areas, they weren't suppose too.. GRR!

These forums seem to be quiet popular and are keeping me busy. Gives me something to do. I am glad I found this forum as this is EXACTLY what I have been looking for for so long!
