Our company is fairly remote, so it's hard to find local help. So we've decided the next best thing might be to work remotely with people.Because a remote person couldn't be internal and take part in brainstorming sessions, we've decided to buy game ideas instead. So, if you have a fully-fleshed out game idea (including story, mechanics and such), then we'd like to hear it!
I know what you mean. I am a pure coder, and I don't like designing the formulas and mechanics detail, if the type of game is not something I like to play myself. What I have done in a past project was hire a pure game designer. You probably won't find many in this forum. Pure game designers usually hang out in board game design forums.
If you're ever on IRC, I'd much enjoy discussing design ideas (or I guess we could do it here, probably in a different thread though). However, I've mostly taken myself out of the business of creating BBGs. I still love them, but find the work to profit ratio to be too small.
