After 6 months and actually not gtting far on the learning front I've decided to hire someone to help build me a game!

How much are you looking to pay? If you're looking for a good, quality product you're going to end up paying well for it - but if you just want something built by the lowest bidder, you might get more results on something like Scriptlance.

Hey bbgames; I am not exactly after the lowest bidder, but more after an experienced partner. Though thanks for the heads up will keep an eye out there as well.

Yeah - I don't mean to discourage you prematurely, I just wanted to make sure you were aware. There are a lot of projects that get posted with terms like "we're not making any money yet, but once we are you'll get a cut!" - while yours is better, I'm sure there are a number of people here (myself included) who don't want to come forward without knowing what you're expecting to pay.
