I was just wondering if units recover their HP at all ...anyone know?

and is their any limit to how many units can be either in a city or actually defending it?

Units recover HP at the end of the turn when the production is worked out.

You get 5 HPs back per turn if your unit hasn't moved to simulate it resting and just 1 HP if it has moved.  I plan to add in so if you are in a city you get full HPs back each turn.

There is currently no limit to how many units can stack in a city.

a few extra bugs that ive noticed....

i get the same city repeated several times in the city combo box....if you select the city thenyour always taken to the same location....Note also that the city is repeated on your test page too...

if I start a turn by moving units then switch to look at a single city then go back to moving units the RH column still shows city info i ddont get to see my units location their current MP's or HP's so its next to impossible to know which direction to send them in.

I dont know if it happens in all situations, but if an infantry is standing on a hill and then i move my tank unit into an attack position then the graphics for the hill disapear and you dont see the option to attack anymore. the infantry unit and its flag are then positioned really weird....im using FF 2.0.0.20 atm, if this is a browser image display issue then you should also try to provide a second way to attack that doesnt use the map interface...

I'll check this for you but it is possible to have the same city name for several cities.  Try renaming some cities and see if this fixes the problem.  I'll amend the code so you can't have the same city names generated.

Yes, I know about this one and will try to get it fixed in the next day or two.

This is probably as the graphic is missing from the images folder, I thought I'd got them all but maybe not, will get it fixed soon.

Thanks for the feedback again!

I've made some changes a few days ago so you get a combat bonus if you have friendly units adjacent to any combat.  You also get a penalty if there are enemy units adjacent.  Be aware of this when planning attacks.

It's to simulate the fact that if you were surrounded by enemies morale would suffer and it would be harder to defend against attacks potentially from more than one direction.

the duplicate cities, i dont think relate to a duplicate name....although ill give it a try and report back t you next time i make a move.

with the soldiers on the hill...i see the graphic fine when i dont have my current unit positioned directly next to it for attack....i think its related to showing the attack option....the unti graphic and the flag are visible but are displaced to the line above...

the supporting units idea is great ...thanks ill be using that in upcoming sieges...;)   beware....the iron curtain approaches....and when the curtain closes....its good night baby.

there are a few suggestions that i can make bassed on my new needs...

It would be great to be able to scrap a unit.....or too compine two partially damaged untis together into one ....say at 80% of each.

I can see from the db that you've got (for example) 3 cities called Luffhampton - they are all cities in their own right it's just the game assigned them the same name.  Try renaming them to see if it looks OK to you.  I'll change the code to prevent duplicate names for future games.

This should be fixed now, let me know if you find any other terrain types affected in the same way.

Yes - if you surround an enemy you should win almost all the time without loss although you'll lose some HP.

I'll put this on my to do list!

Thanks!
