My Entry: Moonstone-RPG

Ignore spelling, it is way to early for this (also I haven't decided yet if it will be American English or English RP, so I do not know if this is considered an error or not ).


A few new versions released in the meantime. Bug fixes, balance changes, new features and content. The game is staring to work quite well.

Awsome. And yeah, spelling isn't that important yet, but I had to learn for an English exam so...
I realy want to try out all the games, but I don't have the goddamn time!

You know, it is not fair. We do all the hard work, coding and everything and players? They just play. They have it too easy, that's for sure. So, now they will need to eat and drink And the food prices increses with character level! Serve them right...

Anyway you could link pop ups NOT in the links for playing the game?

LOL nice one Chris. Good thing you took down your advertisements for Asian Dating and Viagra. I know its hard to not pump money out of a contest entry so soon. Good thing you took them down. Getting those pop ups was very annoying.

I never had any popups.... There were only google ads there, and they never, ever use popups. I'm quite sure they do not allow viagra adverts as well.

Check if your comp is not infested with some trojan or something. No one else saw these popups there.

I'm not saying you lie, I can think of several reason of such site behaviour (the most dreadful is that someone hacked my server right now and is messing with it, but I hope it is not it...).

Where exactly do you saw these adverts? On the home page or ingame?
I do not see any "Service Not Available" boxes, could you drop me the exact link?
How long have you seen these? A few seconds? Minutes? Does these disappeared? Have these appeared again?

I have a link to external traffic on HomePage (so it might cause popup, but no emblemed ads).
I have two towers of 160x600 ads ingame (google only, have you see these viagra ads there?).

It's funny how many unexpected things happen when you put in real players. First, they broke economy, like 30 level players started to mass murder poor 50 level monsters How could they... Why didn't 30 level players stick to 30 level monsters, why, why!? All my calculations went down the drain
Now they started a riot because I increased the combat difficulty considerably, ech
Oh yes, and they also bought out all expensive items from the shop and complain they don't have anything to do with gold

I'm interested in your experience for the first 10 levels. If you want to write "an adventurer's diary" what you did during these first levels, how long it took you to reach level 10, favourite equipment on that range, etc, etc, I would love to read it  (I think that the first levels are crucial for the player's decision to stay or not, so I'm going to spend some time on finetuning these).
