Some things I thougt to share
« on: May 11, 2011, 07:22:22 AM »
Just found ApacheConf
Quote
ApacheConf - easy configuring your Apache servers
ApacheConf is the shell for configuring Apache web servers. ApacheConf represents all the information from the httpd.conf file, from the included files, from the log files, .htaccess, .htpasswd and .htgroup in the structured view. All of the server's directives are grouped by category and all these groups are represented as a tree. Also all the server logs, .htaccess files, password files of your users, etc. are available only by one mouse click. In this way, you can see the entire structure of the server at once and you can easily manage all of the server's directives as well as the directories and virtual hosts. ApacheConf is a complete "control center" of Apache web server.
It looked interesting and thought to share. I also clicked the buy button to see who the use. It was a site names Share*it. This site may not be usable for browser games(not sure) but I noticed the Affiliate Program and that may be useful for someone one here. I did not join as I do not have a live site just yet.

Anyway thought to share.

I have used share-it as a payment gateway to resell web hosting.
Unfortunately I didn't make a single sale :)
share-it is mostly aimed at selling software and other digital goods. You can also sell physical goods.
Of course they will not allow gambling or porn, but I am pretty sure they allow game microtransactions.

cons:
The web interface to configure your online shop is very hard to use.
Generating the buy button link is also a challenge.

pros:
Very good support. Personal reply to all my emails in less than 24 hours.
Very low royalty. I don't know how much it is now, but at the time the percentage they kept was lower than paypal.
