Firefox plugin to check RGB values
« on: April 22, 2009, 01:15:36 PM »
I'm looking for some kind of plugin that would show the RGB values (HEX) below the mouse. More or less, might be another plugin that let me "explore colours" different way :)

That would be extremely useful. More than once I've wished for this... as it stands I have to screengrab, then open in Photoshop then grab the color with the eyedropper tool

I must've missed the post on colorzilla, but just thought I'd bump this since I installed it and it's friggin perfect. Better than the Web Developer thing since with that you have to guess which element the color belongs to, and when it comes to a site with many elements in similar shades, it can be hard.

I also installed http://www.kevinfreitas.net/extensions/measureit/ which is great for sizing things up on the fly -- in fact, I wish photoshop had an easy way of doing this -- or maybe there is? Right now I make a slice when I need to know the size of something and then double click it to see the properties.
