I love such clear and definite results :D Now interpretation, why Sock Trader won so drasticly?

Please note that no one made these micro games as their lifetime dream project, it was just a few hours of work at most, so don't be afraid of hurting anyone's feelings. Just give your real thoughts so we all can refine our design skills.

I voted Sock Trader because it was very inuitive, funny, fast paced and entertaining
(it also imho has a nicer design, but I didn't consider it when voting)

In those following two it was harder to me to grasp how to play it

Thought the Pawn shop has really interesting idea and the Shop seems more focused on the economics

However it's true 'm not much into business/eco games (therefore not target audience) so as much as I tried to judge it independantly...

Didn't vote, but here's what I thought,

Pawn Shop: Was fun deciding which esoteric goods to buy and which not to, I randomly made the most money the time I tried declining everything though. Adding the names in the advice list was a nice touch =)

Sock Trader: Had just a few basic concepts that fit together very nicely, liked the fun upgrade names, the random events spiced things up and kept me on my toes.

Shop: game mechanics for running the business were realistic: experimenting with different advertising, over-expanding your shop/factory too early being harmful, etc. Was fun to play, when I accidentally let the money run negative it reminded me of business IRL though :-\ lol  :)
Projects: Pith Framework (at 0.5), CactusGUI (at 0.3)

An interesting twist on pawn shop is that all the goods have a set value.  Ie, Blue Orb has the same real world value from one round to the next.  However, the value at which the merchants try to sell you the item for is completely random.  If you play the game enough, you can figure out what all the real cost are and make the most money.

Sock trader and Shop were a close match.  But I think the 4 inputs from sock trader was the perfect amount for this type game.  Shop, at 2 inputs, was a tad simplistic, and became over complicated with the last revision.  Both both were pretty close in terms of playable enjoyment.
