Quiet?
« on: March 13, 2009, 07:59:20 PM »
I like to lurk on forums a lot and just take stuff in. Since I decided to embark on the  "create my own pbbg adventure" this place seems to be the community for doing so. Just seems a little quiet around here =(
Not sure if this is a good thing since maybe there's not many people like us aiming for the goal of getting some thing successful going in our spare time or it's just this "genre" of entertainment is not attracting as many programmers as it should do?
Personally I see this site as my "home" for info for creating my pbbg, or at least getting an insite to those attempting to do so, which probally explains why i havent havent found anywhere better. I guess my question is, why do I feel this forum should be active than it is? The pbbg community just seems so underated than to what it could be. When I wanted to make a game in c++ there was so much more places to go, proabally because its so much older and established, but I just get the feeling people don't appreciate the power of php and mysql and what ever else you might decide to use to create your website.

Regards,

Tomoso

ps, I'm a little drunk and just wanted to read something new before I went to sleep to give me something to think about - Hence why I made the post  :P
pss. It's not a dig at teh community, I just think pbbg (creating) deserves a lot more attention than it gets.
