Top Site Lists

Does anybody submit their websites to top site lists and participate?
Top sites lists are websites like www.topgamesites.net


Had any success with them? Do you know of any browser-based game-specific top lists?

btw, I figured starting a top site list for PBBGs might be a good idea since there's not much competition, so if anybody's up for starting a new site, go for it

and those are only a few. all these sites link to pbbgs.

And concerning success: I put my game once on such a top site and within 3 days I had +100 members. It was only a small german top site tho, but the success was for me then quite overwhelming.
It's a great place to find new members because it targets exactly the player base you want. And as a bonus: it's (almost always) free!
So if you have a game, just sign it up and either put up a vote banner or just forget about it.

Haha I used to check a lot of those sites to find new games to play. Joining games that don't have a lot of players yet is the best.

I think it would make quite a nice post with all these top-sites. They're really usefull for promoting you game. Or at least that's what my guess would be.
