errorsafe
« on: May 06, 2007, 04:37:16 PM »
I already got this multiple times now and only when I visit this site.

It always pops up a dialoge asking me if I want to perform a scan on my computer and no matter what I click, I get taken to this errorsafe site. What the hell is up with that?

Anybody else got this and knows how to get rid of it?

Never seen it. Maybe you've got a virus or spyware?

don't know.

It's actually a JavaScript that executes the whole procedure of this s@!t ad.

I'll have to look further into that =/

Apparently it isn't really a website-related problem and more of a local malware application.

I have been loooking the whole day through google but have neither found how it got on my mac or how I can get rid of it.

teh sux!

I haven't got any errorsafe advertisment in the past few days. So either it has been removed, or it helps that I installed an adblocker for my firefox browser.

Anyways: anyone still got this errorsafe-stuff?

it's called AdBlock Plus.

I set it up to block everything that contains the url of errorsafe. I haven't experienced anydrawbacks yet :)
