I am working on my own php games but I would like to have a few games running for the experience and learing pitfalls for my games. I am looking at open source games I can modify and place on my server. I am looking for games like Legend of the green dragon, where I can make a new game out of it in about 20 hours or less. I know of dragon knight and legend of the green dragon and the black nova traders games but are there any more? BTW I am working on a php game engine core, I am making a Kings of chaos type game and a wrestling manager type game using the same core code so I can make more games from the core code when I have more time. So does anyone know of other source code for games out there and where I can download them? I am not going to get to 100 post on this board so forget those.

Found gamers fusion 2.5 and 2 and 3 - although 3 is still on sourceforge, but doesn't sound stable.

I would download it soon and burn a copy of all the files there, it looks like a mirror of sourceforge that isn't up to date, if they update it, they might delete 2.5 and only have beta v3

Iv downloaded all 3 versions even though the beta one isnt recommended. Might come in handy sooner or later

Sorry for the double post. I have just looking at the files in the download and think I maybe able to modify some and integreate it into a game I am already running. I want a chat client for my game aswell which opens in a seperate browser

Legend of the Green Dragon is an awesome game script. I've been running versions of LoGD for about 3 years now. The newer versions can be used as a game engine to write other types of games and the module system is the best I have seen. So cool, and so easy to use and code new modules if you know php.

For other open source games, I'll look though my many folders stuff and see what I can find and post links or files.

One thing I would like to get is the battle system from the Kings of Chaos clone that was floating around a while back. That I am sure I could work into a cool game.

Just remember that is a bone stock clean install. It is a starting point for your own creations after that.

anyone havent got 100 posts?! Anyone who wants open source games please add to msn me!! Ill give you any script you require! For Free , Why would i charge. ( because i wouldnt. )

You can get loads of games from both sites that have been mentioned. There not brilliant but if you have the time and knowledge you can convert them into something different
