Couldn't agree more.  I think this is why have not been posting much here anymore.  90% spam most of the time.  Then once they hit 100 posts, you never see them again...

I just have a question. If a post is deleted, does it deduct it from the post count aswell. Otherwise this is just an easier way to reach a higher post count.

I will try to come up with a different solution for the vault. You need something to cut down on the spam but also restrict the access from everyone. Maybe something like was mentioned earlier. A manually submission to the members although this would be a pain if the forums grew very big.

There migh be other ways to help this out it's just a matter of thinking.

I'm not sure about the post count...
I'm hoping that it does deduct from your post count :P

I'm also hoping to implement a new system for the scripts vault too. I think 100 posts is a little harsh, but in my opinion the collection of scripts are very useful.

Sometimes, it's because a post is just spam, so we delete it. Or, if a topic is getting really off-topic, it would be cleaned up a little bit.
Otherwise it's just because it's a really old post. It's still available in the trashcan if you want to read it :)

This is a perfect example of why access to the vault should be by vote and not post count.
