Ok once in a while we get requests for a partnership. Most of the time we gracefully decline these because in all honesty we don't feel that the site requesting the partnership brings any value added to the BBGameZone site.
To be completely honest at this point we don't really have any idea of what would be a good partnership. We have basically two sites on top BuildingBrowserGames and BBG Universe. These, to us, augment the BBGameZone site very well and are full of content about the creation and or running of games. When we look at a partnership we are looking for something that a) we don't deliver b) meshes with the content we already have. If you are a game owner and want to partner your site to ours the answer will be declined. We own multiple games, we don't push them here other then with our sigs like everyone else. This site is for game creators / owners, partnering with us does neither of us any good, our visitors probably won't visit your site because they only run a game and your visitors are only loyal to your game site. This is honestly SEO 101....
If you have a forum we will probably decline as well, simply because, we are running our own forums. The only exception may be if a graphics site wanted to partner because our visitors our continually looking for people to hook up with that have graphically capabilities.
As it stands right now those that link to us are from blogs about game creation or design. They link to us because this is value added to them and to us. They too put sigs linking to there blog so now you have a cross reference between sites of equal content. Are we partners, no, but it's a mutual understanding and even better it's often great for page rank

We care about this site and the content it provides to our current community and those that join us in the future. It's just far to easy today to try and make the quick traffic or quick buck, we don't and won't do that. We've been around 8 years now and we did that because we don't do it the quick way we try and do it the right way... And we haven't failed yet
