1. No spamming! (Nothing under 4 words or simple statements like 'cool', 'nice site', 'check it out')

2. Keep all topics PG-13. (That means no swearing, no pornography, etc)

3. Your signature may contain up to 4 lines of advertisements. Only there or in the Advertisements board are advertisements allowed.

4. No affiliate or referral links are allowed, except in the Marketplace board and its sub-forums.

5. Behave yourself, and respect all other members.

6. Keep all articles quoted, and the source stated clearly above the article.

another couple of n00b questions zeggy:
i see here apparently we are allowed to have animated gifs as our avatars? is that right?
seem to remember someone being banned from odyssey for that?

if so - can we animate our sigs too?

Yeah, you can have animated gifs in your avatars.
I don't remember anybody being banned for havin those... Only for spamming.

As I run a forum I know how strict you have to be with rules so I always stick to them. My board was full of SPAM at one time until I started taking action and banning members and it sorted itself out

Nobody comes on anymore lol

I will sort a sig-pic out shortly. You should add a photoshop section on here for people to show off their work etc

Im still learning photoshop, I can navigate it easily enough and my works not too bad but some don't look professional enough to show off lol

I think you should ask for at least two sentences - although some exceptions could be made.
The most important part is that a post should have some real content (and propper spelling and grammar!).

To bad the script vault system you have currently only encourages breaking your rules.

hi there,
sorry I know I have been already warned for posting in old threads, which I didnt realise at the time, but maybe the rules should be placed in a section that makes them easy to find. I have only just found them and not having joined a forum before was warned for trolling, not sure what that means but was told what I did was wrong.

Being blind forums are not so easy to navigate, but doable , but with things such as the announcements and rules should be the first ones a person finds. Like the announcements board is here.

Its just a thought, and I appologise for my rule breaking and will try not to do it again
