What would you like to ask Renaissance Kingdoms?
« on: February 05, 2009, 08:10:48 PM »
I've recently managed to get in contact with the creator of Renaissance Kingdoms, and he has expressed an interest in doing an interview with me - is there anything in particular that any of you would like me to ask?

I played RK for about a year  think it was...

I have a couple of questions related to the forum restructuring and interface changes that they introduced last year,

Do they have any figures related to player retention during that time, did their player base change (or did they loose many long term players)

The other thing i would ike to ask about is their forum integration with the game, how successful do they think their concept is? do they have any further plans for the future.

(for those that arn't aware RK's forum is integrated into the game, with players only able to see sub forums with common content or related to their current game locatiion)

Are there no other RK players on the forums with questions? I had multiple people say they'd be interested in hearing from them, but no one seems to know what they want me to find out.

I've written down your questions about forum restructuring and player retention, and I'll be sure to ask those.

yeah, I'm happy you could manage an interview with them. I will think this evening more about questions.

Check previous topic (about Trivan), I think many of these questions are valid as well.

I could add a few more...

how much of the games social element was specifically engineered and how much is just the result of organic growth.

What is the most suprising element of the RK culture to them?

Are there any game elements that they are particularly proud off and if so why?

Chekking out the travian - interview post, the same questions I asked there I wan to ask here to.

Quote
Intresting... but i's hard to find some good questions in such short time.
What the others said 'till now sounds good allready...

 - Why did you make travian?
 - How long did it take to built it?
 - Where did they get the graphics from?
 - What are the developers favorite games?
 - Other questions
