In all seriousness, I think that 55 posts is a bit high. I know that as a person who doesn't do a lot of coding (only got into php recently) see scripts would help me a lot.

I know what you are all gonna say, I should learn w/o using other people's scripts, that way, I actually learn the language. To that I say, I'm lazy. B)

Judging by the current activity of these forums, 55 posts is WAY too high. Unless you just want folks to spam the forums with useless posts just so they can see the scripts.

I'm one of the people who will only write a post if I think I've actually got something to add to a discussion, so at this rate I'll probably grow tired of post-counting and leave the site before I get to 55. (Which defeats the purpose of the 55-post count requirement, which I assume is to create more discussion on the boards.)

Well, the post requirement is to stop people from just joining, downloading all the scripts and never returning.

The scripts archive is just a collection of (mostly) freely available scripts on the internet. If you spent time on google you could also find copies of those scripts.

I understand your reasoning, I'm just say that 55 is a lot of post since there is such little activity on the forums. I mean, just look at the post frequency in most of the forums here. At those rates, it'd take over a week to get access to the scripts. At that point people could easily move on to somewhere else on the internet to find what they're looking for.
I think the high post count requirement is actually hurting you instead of helping. I'd suggest 15 or 20.

I don't think so (or i didn't notice),

But you can get some game scripts, nothing commercial though, they are either abandoned projects, or free scripts, or links to free scripts.

They are a good start generally.

Well, RPG Forge is based on exofusion anyways, and that script is available in the script vault.

I think also 55 is a bit high... But that is because I'm not a massive forum fiend! Though I do like relatively quiet forums because at least I can keep abreast of whats going on in them... Though obviously thats not great if you're a webmaster!

Hmm 55 post looks a lot and it is when the forum isn't that active, but it should be possible in a couple days.
