Apart from having a much sought-after acronym, and using it for a shortening URL or URL redirection service, what is the use of having a short domain name?
If you had a short domain name, what would be a good use for it that it would be better than having a longer, more descriptive domain?
Some ideas I thought of:
Hosting
Image hosting
File hosting
I really can't think of much more... so why the fuss over short domains?
(I'm talking about 4-5 letter/number domains here, we all know 3 letter ones are worth gold
)
