Well, introduction...
I'm here to expand my knowledge and hopefully give some pointers to those who, like me, want to make a game but have no idea where to start.
And background on why I want to for those who like reading longer posts...
I have always loved playing browser based games when i was younger, even today i still thoroughly enjoy them. But like everyone and their mother it has always been a dream to actually own and manage a game myself. So when I originally got accepted to into college, I had planned on minoring in computer science with a focus in programming.
Unfortunately, the classes for my intended major (chemistry) conflicted with nearly every CS class I wanted to take. So here I am 4 years later, I just graduated with degrees in chemistry and physics, and nearly a minor in mathematics but not a single class in programming.
Of course, now that I've graduated, I find myself with a ridiculous amount of free time. So I figure it is a great time to seriously look into teaching myself the basics I need to create my own game
