Hi all,

I thought I'd just introduce myself... I'm Andy and I'm a Software Engineer by day and avid PBBG player/moderator by night.

I have a few ideas (and even some material collated) for a game that I intend to begin developing soon. It's a survival horror RPG... and for once it doesn't have zombies, LOL.

I use ASP.NET and C# for work but intend to use PHP, MySQL, etc. for my first PBBG.

I'm an accomplished computer programmer but writing games is a new arena for me... and thats why I'm likely to require some assistance from you guys.

I am looking forward to enjoying the ride...  ;D

Oh yes, indeed, I intend for this to be a symbiotic relationship. If anyone has any questions regarding n-tier development, design patterns, OOA&D, etc. feel free to pick my brains.

Hmm... I can't wait to get started now. Maybe I'll spend a few hours hacking some code this weekend...
