I completely ignored this section when creating my account, so for fun I'm coming back and actually posting something here.
I'm a professional PHP/Rails developer who's interested in using PBBGs to explore the more interesting faucets of the Rails framework that don't normally have the chance to. It's also a good excuse to my inner gamer out to play around with new ideas. Stale, over-used mechanics bore me. Simulation style open-ended game mechanics are much more interesting to me, if only because gamers will likely come up with cooler ways of playing my games than I will. Eve Online is my idol. The Guiding Hand Social Club are my heroes.
In reading several threads on this form, I get the feeling I'm going to get along with a few of you pretty well. Others, not as much. Lets respect our differences of opinion and be decent neighbors.
