Favorite Genre?
« on: November 05, 2006, 01:41:33 PM »
Whats your favorite genre of games?

I love the MMORPGs to be sure..
As far as single player fun goes, I love RPGs. Puzzle games like tetris are also great fun.

Thats a tough one - I'd say with equal measure FPSes, Driving Games, and MMORPGs.

I'm in heaven in Planetside - MMOFPS - ideal!

I love mmorpgs, although I haven't played many extensively... :(
I also like first person shooters, but my computer can't play them, except Wolfenstein and similar old games.

I am also starting to enjoy racer games somewhat... NFS is fun because there's police... it's not just racing around in a car but almost like GTA except you can't get out the car. There's actually some sort of exploration involved :D
But normal racing games aren't that appealing to me. I've got a racing game on my xbox, I forgot the name. I never played it until recently, and it's not bad. Still, not as exciting as shooters.

I played Planetside for awhile.
It was cool, although I soon quit on account of the fact that I suck at FPS games. XP

I like strategy / war games. However, MMORPGs are interesting too.
I tend to get addicted to different MMORPGs every once in a while.

I've played a lot of different games, mostly FPS, RTS, TBS, RPG, and MMORPGs.

Current games I play on occasion - Counter-Strike: Source & Supreme Commander.. my World of Warcraft account is currently disabled because I just don't have the time anymore :(

Simulation, with strategy close behind. I do play games from all genres, though, with the possible exception of racing games.
