Angels and Demons,, A new game...

Hello All,

I've another game to run by everyone. I think this one has a lot of potential. I call it Angels and Demons but that url is taken so I gotta come up with a better name for it.

It's a resource management game, in which you collect souls and fight either Angels or Demons.

It's a bit different from other PBBG but close to other games you may have seen from me.

Give me the good, the bad and the ugly. Especially the ugly *grin*

There are a few items you should be aware of before commenting.

I tested in IE 7.0, I have no clue how it looks in IE 6.
I develop in Firefox so it works best with that browser.
The building graphics are "programmer art". I've a artists working on a good set right now.
I did the people myself, its laughable how many hours I put into them...then my 8year old looks at it and says hey are those pokemon? (LOL)

There is a membership program to this game, however during alpha all players get a free membership account. (Click the join link, under your status)

Great concept! However that being said  those sprites, look like those old emo palace chat sprites and that's never a good thing.

I have to agree with Pdquinn. It's a great concept but I think the graphics don't really matter unless graphics are what drive the game. Also, when I read the thread's title, I first thought "OMG! Someone else has read that book and now they're asking what we thought of it and what we think about how the movie's going to be!", but alas, this is not the case.

It was a good book though and I'm looking forward to the film.

Old em' sprites huh...yeah, I'll have to get someone to work on those.

I have read the book...good book...looking forward to the movie. But no the game has nothing to do with the book. LOL.

It looks good and it sounds good. I think graphics could make a pretty big difference in this game. Maybe I will  try this out some time ...

i love the littel quips in the screen shots....youve got so many building you blot out the sun...nime more dingbats to surpass frankinstein....great idea.

I could barely translate that, please get firefox. It automatically underlines misspelled words and right clicking fixes them. For the sake of us all.

dude english is my first language, I do have firefox, i even have the spellchecker plugin installed.....i just have a dictionary from a different language, which means when i do write english just about everythings underlined in red.

yes ill admit my spelling isnt all that great, and sometimes my grammer slips, but strewth im not totaly incoherant when i dont proof read my posts. actually having re-read my post...appart from the letters swapped and a missin s or two....whats your problem?

My reputation is gone from -2 to +4 and everything between that. I only took -3 hit this time, although some might have gotten from saying Mafia Games are stupid and should be removed from the net

About the game, it does look promising. I'll sign up later when I find some free time.
