What do you guys think about banner exchanges?
To me I think they suck. If you check your cpanel You can see what works and what don't.
There are many ups and downs to banner exchanges,
The ups you get free traffic,other people get to veiw your site and maybe get some new sign ups.
now here is some of the downs,you may get a few new members to join your game. But at what cost!
For Exp TWG offers a banner exchange, to game owners, but heres the down you have other games posted on your site. if you have a Mafia game and while your playing you see a mafia banner game, that funded by some Co. that is far better then your game you will lose more members then you gain.Two some banners have flash and when they show they will slow you game down.Waiting for the banner to load.
Keep in mind that most web based game players are on 56k which is why they play in the first place.
If you dont have high speed internet, and want to play multiplayer game then the answer is browser games.
Here's a tip if your going to use a banner exchange make sure you can setup what type of banner to show.
Or else you are going to eat up all that money you paid to advertise.But this is just what i think!
