If anyone out there is willing to write an article containing good tips and a great starting point on where/how to advertise your games i would be ever so grateful.

I want to... but I don't have any experience nor the time to do it :P.
When I have time I could try to sum up the things I would do.

1. topsites can bring some users
2. several users like to see demo of your game...like screenshots maybe even demo account
3. best advertisement is that people LIKE your game and tell friends about it, maybe you can stimulate them even with referral links
4. google adsense - set target audience etc., not cheap but it can be effective

I would also recommend getting in touch with some of the blogs out there - while I can't speak for other blogs, Building Browsergames is always looking for new games to post information on(whether it's a review, a post-mortem, or a beta invite), and I would assume that other blogs are as well. In those sorts of situations, it may help to already have a brief summary of your game available for the blog that you contact; if they write a review of your game, they can include your summary (and link) at the bottom of it.

Love the look of that site! Also looks like great advertising. Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks! I will defiantly try some of that.

Votesites (70% of new players)
SearchEngines (10-20% of new players, depending on your SEO level)
ProjectWonderful.com (time consuming but cheap)
