Does somebody use Yahoo! Publisher Network in online multiplayer games?
How many members did you need to get an invite there?

I don't think getting an invite there depends on how many members you had.
You just need to apply and wait until they accept your account.
But the bad thing is that YPN is only for US citizens.

I've been rejected several times :(
But it's not really for US citizens, you can create a company in the US, and you will have a Tax ID. That way, you would be able to have YPN without living in the US.

Oh :O
I was accepted but my application took 2 months+ (or maybe the email was slow :P)
Anyways, on the registration page after I was accepted, I realised I needed to have some information that I didn't have (like tax ID), so I couldn't continue :(

I applied quite recently (about a month ago), and heard that it's getting harder and harder to join the network.
Well, at least you had the invite which you could sell (they are being sold for over $1000)

That's a real pity... I know at digitalpoint you can definitely sell the invite for $1000. $1500 if you are lucky.
When did you apply to Yahoo?

Uhh, a long time ago. I'll check to see if I still have the link ^_^

EDIT: Well, here it is:
Quote
Dear Andy,

Thank you for applying to participate in the Yahoo! Publisher Network beta program. We're excited to let you know that your application has been accepted and you can now proceed with creating your account using the link below:

https://publisher.yahoo.com/signup/?betaKey=6e1667059e9d5101eb924138cd708950

This link is your unique access key. It is non-transferable and may be used to create one account only. (Please note that during the beta period, Yahoo! is only able to serve or accept U.S.-based publishers with a valid Social Security or Tax ID number, and with web site content that is predominantly in English and targeted at a U.S. user base.)

The new Yahoo! Publisher Network self-serve platform:

    * Is being developed in response to demand from publishers like you.
    * Will enable publishers to take advantage of the products and services that appear on Yahoo!.
    * Is designed to provide online publishers all the content, tools and services they need to maximize the value of their sites?for both publishers and users.

By participating in the beta program, you'll be among the first to test a new platform that enables you to publish text-based ads on your Web site and take advantage of new Yahoo! Publisher Network tools and services as they become available.

If you have any questions during the set-up process, please call our Support Team at (866) 785-2636, Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. PST, and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST.

We firmly believe that collaboration drives innovation, so we welcome your honest, ongoing feedback.

Sincerely,

Will Johnson
General Manager

It's a pity :(
You could try re-requesting them another link, saying that your old one expired ;)

Apart from that, they ask for a phone number in the application - did you give them a US phone number?
