How do I make A text based Wargame (Please reply)

Hi,
Me and my friend want to make a text or a browser based wargame... Kida like a maffia game.
We both dont have any kowledge of scripts. So is it possible to make it using microsoft visual web developer 2008 cuz i have that tool. Or should i do it with something help. Then do you know where to learn it?

Which editor you use doesn't really matter. You will need to learn some sort of server-side language if you want to build a game - like PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python, C#, or VB.Net. Which one you choose is up to you.

Its not that hard of a language to learn. I started with it and python and found python to be more difficult to learn.

Php is first programming language i learned and it isent that hard. Think one of the easyer ones.

But you realy must learn PHP...

... and u need to know some HTML and CSS. Those two are more easy then PHP.
