Need a Javascript and/or AJAX forum
« on: December 07, 2007, 06:56:48 PM »
Could you add this? Some AJAX (Javascript) games don't fall under the "Text Game", "Flash Game", "Java Game" heading and I think "Other Games" is way to broad a catagory. The stuff I have been working on is AJAX based browser games.

Just a suggestion.  :)

I propose "Advanced Text Game" because actually Ajax itself is not much different than a text game :). Of course you can build "graphical" games with it, but as it's not as efficient than flash or java, i think "Advanced Text Game" is good :)

I'll second this motion!!! (or third it)

I tend to build browser based game that have a graphic/Ajax aspect to them, they don't exactly fit in this category sometimes.

"Rich" is usually used to refer to ajax-based UIs. In this case, I guess, it would be "Rich Text Game", which I like better than "Advanced", a word which seems rather misleading.
