Hi People,

I'm JGP123. I'm very into computers. I know XHTML and basic CSS, PHP and Java. Also BBCodes in forums :P
I've had experience in RTS, MUD, MMOG, MMORPG, RPG, BBG, PBBG styled games. Popular ones include World of Warcraft, Dawn of War and Runescape. Less famous include TribalWars, Guild Wars, Eternal Duel and many Artix Entertainment games (Adventure Quest, MechQuest, Dragon Fable).

I just have a quick question about emulators. I know that games such as World of Warcraft, Runescape, MapleStory etc have their own emulators or "Private servers" where there are custom items and minigames etc.

Is there a way to do so with BBG's?? Any help or details are appreciated especially on SQL, Emulation and Hybrid Clients.

If you let people run it on their own servers, unlike a compiled program, with a BBG you'd be basically handing them your sourcecode... They could easily just change it's looks, add one or two features, and then call it a new game and start competing against your game...  :-\

BTW: What worlds were you on in TribalWars?  :)

Tried W8 and got wooped. Stayed in W13 for ages. My tribe, Memento Mori are still going strong. I think they're allies with INSO. I've been playing TW since W13. Now theyre on W35.
I also did W19, W21, W23, W24.

Quit them all. Too many beginners. Not active, low resource income etc.
Didnt have the cash for High Performance :(\

And about the emulator thing, does anyone know of any BBGs that have an open source code for people to use?
