I suggest you start PHP studies either in www.tizag.com or in www.w3school.com.
Do you want EDs old source code so you can study it? I have like 5 different clones of it. I can give them for you when you know the basics.

I can send you pics of my cocks if you want reference.

I found YouTube Video's were quite helpful!
Make sure there are like 10-20+ different parts!
=P

Also some free Ebooks are quite useful!
W3schools & tizag, look over them after YouTube videos I suggest.. (Make sure you have sound on the videos)

Good luck!

Like I said, when you know the basics :) You won't get far if you don't understand loops, $_POST, $_GET or how the forms work. Not to mention basic knowledge of mySQL.

I picked up a book as my initial foray into PHP. I wanted to know the process behind the language and not just the syntax. Of course... I came with a C++ background so...

Best advice, find whatever type of learning suits you the best! Some learn best from tutorials, others from books and still more need videos. Always cater your learning experiences to the method that helps you understand the material the best. :)

Hizan, which option did you find was better? Everyone is different, I strongly recommend to learn basics of CSS as well, just because many PHP scripts are ugly without any styles! Presentation is important!
