i want to make a good pbbg but where do i start? that the hardest part i ever thought off> i want to code and host my own for free....... but where do i start?

I guess you can start with PHP tutorials. In my time I learned programming using BASIC, but it's now a dead language.
First write simple websites in PHP and MySQL, then later advance to javascript and AJAX. It's a long road.

creating a game requires you to learn how to program. alternatively you could use a tool like http://www.mafiacreator.com/ to do it for you, but you'll obviously be limited to what they provide you (and most of those tools only offer some features for free; most features you have to pay for)

if you truly want to create your own game from scratch using PHP, you'll first need to learn PHP. start reading tutorials (such as this older one: http://devzone.zend.com/article/627)
