Artist seeking work
« on: May 28, 2008, 02:39:59 PM »
My name is Diego, and I am an on and off artist. Maybe if I didn't join the army when I was 18 ( I am 28 now ) I could have been a serious artist by now, but as it stands, I am a budding artist seeking work to help fill out my portfolio.

I am currently working on a few projects. Nothing serious. and I am always looking for more work.

Since I am only allowed a few attachments, here is a small sample of my work. If you wish for more examples, please feel free to Private Message me and give me your email address.

I mainly use traditional paper, pencil, pen, marker art, which I then translate onto electronic mediums such as MS paint and Photoshop. I am also basically versed in 3D programs such as Deled and 3d Max. I have some very simple and basic examples of my beginner 3D work to show you if you are interested.

I am mainly looking to help flesh out various browser based games with my art. I love drawing tons and tons of little  pictures like monsters, buildings, weapons, and the like. My art style ranges from Anime (traditional manga, Chibi, etc)
to western comic styles.

If need by, I have a friend who is a professional painter who can join me for higher quality finished color work.

So if you want your entire game drawn, or you just need a side artist to help you draw some swords or monsters, I am your man. I am very cheap to hire, and in some cases I will work for free.

I do have a regular job, so don't expect me to rush my art. Even though I will try :)

Do not be afraid to ask me any questions either on here or in a private message.

Thank you! :)

Hi trollface666,

How are you with futuritis wars? Characters, buildings or landscapes? check out http://www.xyber-wars.com - this project started development in 2004, almost a year ago it went public.. it is a browser based game set deep into the future.

Anyway it needs filling with graphics.. if you go to the home page you can see some screen shots of what the game interface looks like and you will notice it's missing characters/buildings etc.

Let me know what you think,
All the best,
Taskforce
