« on: November 10, 2007, 03:19:01 PM »
Ok here's the deal im a really good artist,I can create some really great ideas.
Is there a good program I can download,or do I have my pictures which is on paper scanned.then placed on my computer.

Or do most people just draw them up on there computer then place them to the game. and how can I add links to my artwork.

From what I hear, most game-artists create their content on the computer. Maybe a sketch on paper, then scanning the lines and then inking on the computer.

Try the gimp for a free photoshop-like application. All artists I know either work with Photoshop or the Gimp (maybe not all the time, but most of the time)

You can scan the image in or you can work on the computer.

I like pixel art which can be done in MS paint (Which comes with most windows versions)

Try www.pixeljoint.com for tutorials and inspiration.
