Looks like that could be one of at least two things. Either a classical "triptych", or Apple's "Cover Flow" navigation.

No
it's not a triptych.
They are different images they also can be 5.

So it means it is a coverflow navigation.
Thanks

This is a really nice coverflow script using javascript. If you ever need a coverflow effect I suggest this one:

1x rectangle
2x horizontal/vertical perspective (+ flip/mirror as needed)

You can do it on most 2D software.

I see from the subject you're looking for help with GIMP. Assuming you want to make this sort of thing (you never actually said that's your goal):

  • Great a new image that's 4x as wide and 2x as tall as a screenshot -- you can crop it down later, just nice to have a little extra room
  • Go to File -> Open As Layers and open your three screenshots
  • Drag one of them to roughly the center of the image
  • Go to Layers -> Scale Layer and knock it down 75% or so -- if you don't, you'll have to enlarge the other images and that never looks good
  • Drag the other two to flank it on either side
  • Choose the Perspective Tool (looks like a trapezoid, or from File menu)
  • Click the left layer. You'll get a square at each corner. Click and drag the right squares to reduce that size to the same height as the center image.
  • Repeat for right layer
  • Crop the image, add a bg, whatever

Thanks

actually as this is bbg dev's forum, i thought asking how do it wouldn't be nice, so i asked for the name of the view so that i can learn it through google.

Anyway, your reply is great :)
