After being part of this first contest here, I have noticed a severe lack of artistic help for many of the BBGs you guys got floating around.
I just wanted to put this out there. I am not exclusive to Cubicle Battles.
I am also not the best artist around - far from it -, but I was wondering how many of you out there are looking for an artist to help spruce up your game's visuals? I am looking to help out the coders of this community with some art. It can be as simple as a ray gun to a full blown creation of a new race complete with developer help on my part.
Will I charge? I don't know. Depends on the game, the situation and my involvement. Best you could do is ask me.
What I would like is this....
You tell me what you want as an overall plan from me for your game. I can then draw up a picture of three depending on what you want to see me do. After you see what I can do, if you like what I can give you, then we can talk turkey.
What could it hurt? You can either ask me here, or if you want to keep things a bit more private, just shoot me a PM. Don't EVER feel like you can't afford an artist. That is the first roadblock you create for yourself and your game's vision. I am here, and I am available.
