Maybe you already know, but what you can find useful too is Gloogster/Fotoflexer, an image manipulation tool online accessible via Tinypic (http:://www.tinypic.com)

Try to upload an image in tinypic and then click modify. Recently they added nice manipulation effects and it's easy to use.
